FIELDING- Our loving father and grandfather, Oleen Clive Garn, 86, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 11, 2018, in Tremonton, Utah. He was born to Micah Oleen Garn and Erma Lenora Nielson, on January 22, 1932, in Garland, Utah.

As a boy he worked on the family farm until he graduated from Bear River High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War on the U.S.S. Manchester.

Upon returning home, he continued his education at Utah State University where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. While there he met a beautiful 'red head' from Burley, Idaho, named Aloha Louise Taylor, whom he married on July 12, 1956, in the Logan LDS Temple. They were blessed with four children: Craig, Kathryn, Tina, and Lisa.

He loved serving the Lord and his church. He served as Stake Missionary, High Counselor, Stake President for the Garland Utah Stake and Stake Patriarch for the Fielding and Garland Utah Stakes.

He is survived by his daughters, Kathryn and (Allen) Willis, Tina and (Stephen) Brueckner, Lisa and (Brady) Chournos; a daughter-in-law, Lynda (Johnson) Garn; and by his brother, Darvel N. Garn; 14 precious grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sweetheart, Aloha; and his son, Craig.

There will be a viewing held on Friday, June 15, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 North 100 East, Tremonton).

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 10 a.m., at the Fielding Stake Center (4375 West 15600 North, Fielding), with a viewing from 9 to 9:45 a.m., prior to the funeral. Burial services will follow at the Fielding Cemetery.
